What is a Remap?

Remapping is when you rewrite the software contained within your vehicle’s ECU (engine control unit). Almost every car produced is fitted with multiple ECUs that control the drive and feel of your vehicle. These determine your top speed, acceleration, MPG, and how the car feels as you drive it.

Why have your engine remapped?

Remaps vary for each individual vehicle, as do the benefits. Most vehicles, however, are able to benefit from an increased BHP along with better MPG. This increase in MPG and BHP results from an improved engine torque. It’s not just the numbers that look good though, your vehicle will feel like a brand-new machine afterward, and it will feel much more responsive.
